Was Obama’s win, Predicted by Social Media?

Just a Brief Discussion from Wiki about newly re-elected president in 2012 Barack Hussein Obama II, he was born on August 4, 1961 and being the first African American to hold the office.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, studied in Columbia University and Harvard Law School, and became the president of the Harvard Law Review, that how brilliant he is Obama the current President of United States. His Political winning career was started on 2004 when he won the Senate election on November 2004 after he won his party’s nomination against Hillary Rodham Clinton. In 2008 presidential election he defeated John McCain the Republican nominee, and successfully inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009 and was re-elected on November 2012 for the second term by defeating republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Here is the data I collected from May 6 – Nov. 6 the election day and this is the query (“Obama wins” OR “Obama” OR “obama 2012” OR “president Obama” OR “Obama Victory” OR “Obama re-elected” OR “barack Obama wins” OR “Obama wins lowa” OR “obama won” OR “Obama re-elected” ), as you can see there are 79.4 Million Mentions who said that Obama will win or re-elected, and 85% of it came from Twitter, 67.4 Millioin compare to 57.9 Million who says Romney will win, Followed by 6.9 Million in forums, 3 Million mentions in News and 2.2 Million mentions in blogs. By the data we saw, we can say that Obama will be re-elected as president.

So in our Analysis we can say that social media can predict what will happen, you can see the data above that there are 20 million or more who’s in favor of Obama’s administration. Obama was tested from his first term and He has better profile than Romney has, by this research Social media really stated that Obama will win. Congrats to newly re-elected President of USA Barack Hussein Obama.
